Students must have passed class 10+2 or its equivalent from an approved board, such as the CBSE, BSEB, or ICSE, to be eligible for admission. A minimum of 45% to 50% in Class 12 is needed for general courses like BA or B.Sc. However, a bachelor's degree and an entrance exam might be required for professional programs like LLB or B.Ed. Students are advised to perform well on their qualifying exams to guarantee a spot in their desired courses, as admission to most undergraduate programs is merit-based.

The admission criteria for PG courses are typically merit-based. To be qualified for PG courses, candidates must have cleared a bachelor’s degree from a recognized and approved university. They have to achieve at least 50% of the total marks in a related UG course. Some courses also take admission on the basis of entrance examinations. Fees for these PG courses are expected to be between INR 8,000 to INR 50,000 per year.
