GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) also known as IP University was established in 1998 by the Government of NCT of Delhi. IP University UG Admission 2024-25
For the 2024-25 academic year, IP University opened the admission portal for a variety of undergraduate courses. The last date to apply for admission at IPU was 15 August 2024 through the official website. The University offers admission on the basis of several entrance exams like IPU CET, NLT, CUET, and NEET. IPU also offers admission based on merit scores to some courses, such as diplomas and certificates.
Some of the UG programs offered by the university are BSc, BA, BBA, BTech, BEd, BCom, etc. In addition to these, the university will also be introducing 7 new UG programs from the current academic year. Those who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 55% are eligible for admission to the UG programs at the university. Moreover, the counseling round for these programs at the university is scheduled from 4 to 7 June 2024.
IP University PG Admission 2024-25

IP University PhD Admission 2024-25
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admission to PhD programme will start in January 2025. IPU Admission 2024 is based on the entrance examination conducted by the university in the form of PET. The application forms for PET 2025 will be released soon. Students who have qualified in the entrance exam conducted from 27 April to 14 May 2024 can start finalizing their admission at the university from 31 July 2024. Candidates applying for PhD programs will also have to appear in the counseling round at the university, as this round carries 30% weightage in the admission process.
Those who have qualified UGC NET, NET JRF, GATE, CEED, etc., will be exempted from the entrance exam conducted by the university. Some of the specializations of PhD programs offered at the university are English, Economics, Mass Communication, Biotechnology, Law, Chemical Engineering, etc.
