JNU Admission 2025-26

JNU UG Admission 2025-26
Jawaharlal Nehru University UG Admission has commenced through the NTA CUET UG entrance exam. 31 March 2025* will be the JNU admission last date. Students have to fill out the Entrance examination at the NTA (National Testing Agency) official portal. Students who have appeared in the CUET UG exams and secured good marks can submit their application for UG admissions at JNU for the academic session 2025-26. JNU entrance exam will conducted soon by the National Testing Agency.
It has Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs only in foreign languages like German, Spanish, Persian, French, Chinese, and many others. The total duration of the program is 4 years. To take on any BA discipline, aspirants must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks from a well-known board. Apart from the eligibility criteria of the desired program, students have to appear for the JNU entrance exam. The JNUEE Entrance test will not be held this year. Only those students who have qualified for the CUET test can be invited for counseling.
JNU PG Admission 2025-26
JNU PG Admission 2025 offers courses like MA, MCom, MSc, MPH, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech. Admission to the PG level courses at JNU is offered based on the CUET PG 2025 to all PG courses, also the University accepts GAT-B scores for the MSc program. JNU PG admission 2025 last date will be 31 March 2025*. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration portal for the CUET PG entrance exam for the 2025-26 academic session. JNU MA Admission 2025
JNU offers admission to the Master of Arts (MA) course for the academic session 2025-26. The duration of this course is 2 years. Students who have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university can register for the JNU CUET PG entrance test. Admission to the Jawaharlal Nehru Univerity MA is based on the CUET Exam score. Students who obtained a valid score on the entrance test are eligible to be admitted to this postgraduate-level course. 31 March 2025* will be the Jawaharlal Nehru University MA Admission 2025 last date to apply. JNU Admission 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for JNU admission 2025-26, Students must have fulfilled the required eligibility criteria for various UG, PG, and PhD level degree programmes. Students must have passed the senior secondary school (10+2) test or an exam with a similar grade from a reputable university or board. Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks overall in the qualifying test to meet the JNU eligibility requirements. One can check the required details which are mentioned below:
For JNU BA (Hon) Admission:- Students have to secure a minimum of (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks.
For JNU MA in Politics Admission:- Students have to secure a bachelor's degree in politics hon with 50% marks.
For JNU MA Economics Admission:- Students have to secure a 10+2+3 education pattern securing at least 50% marks aggregate is also eligible.
Admission JNU B Tech Admission:
(a) Students will be admitted after 10+2 schooling on the basis of JEE Main ranking through CSAB/ JoSAA.
(b) 15% supernumerary seats for foreign nationals at the entry-level of the dual degree (B. Tech + M. Tech/M.S.) program as per the DASA Scheme of MHRD.
For JNU PhD Admission: The candidates are invited for the CBT examination and candidates qualifying in the CBT examination shall be called for the viva-voce Examination. Qualifying marks for the candidate belonging to the General Category and EWS category is 50%. Whereas, qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories is 45%. It is to be noted that a candidate who scores 50% and above for the General Category and EWS category & 45% and above for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/PWD in the computer-based test, does not automatically qualify for being shortlisted for the viva-voce. The e-prospectus for PhD admission 2025-26 will be uploaded soon by the university at the official portal of the university @jnu.ac.in/main.
No Candidate shall be eligible to register himself/herself for a full-time programme of study if he/she is already registered for any full-time programme of study in this University or any other University/Institution. In service, candidature may kindly refer to the JNU Admission 2025 Policy of the University available on the JNU website.
For JNU. M.Sc. in Biotechnology Admission: Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological (Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Microbiology/Zoology), Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-year B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course); MBBS/ B.D.S with at least 55% marks.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Course Admissions
The University offers the following one-year programme of study:
a. Advanced Diploma of Proficiency in Mass Media in Urdu
b. Diploma of Proficiency in Bhasha Indonesia, Mongolian, and Hebrew
c. Certificate of Proficiency in Mongolian, Pashto, Uzbek, Bhasha Indonesia, Urdu, Pali

JNU Admission 2025 to the above programmes is made based on the following criteria:
A) Admission to advanced Diploma (ADOP) in Mass Media in Urdu and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Mongolian, Pashto, Uzbek, Bhasha Indonesia, Urdu, Hebrew, Pali, Sanskrit Computational Linguistics programmes, Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy, and Indian Culture are made on the basis of the performance of candidates in CBT examinations.
B) JNU Admissions 2025 to Diploma of Proficiency (DOP) in Bhasha Indonesia, Hebrew, and Mongolian shall be based on merit as per the performance in the Certificate of Proficiency in respective languages.
