Eligibility Criteria for VKSU PhD Admission 2024
Students who want to take the VKSU PhD admission need to follow the eligibility criteria that the university sets. Below we have written down the eligibility criteria for Ph.D. admission.
- To become eligible for VKSU PhD admission for the 2024-25 academic session, students must have acquired a UG and PG degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
- The selection of the candidates is based on the merit of the last qualifying exam and the Pre-Ph.D coursework.
VKSU PhD Entrance Exam 2024
VKSU offers admission based on the entrance exam to the PhD program for the 2024-25 academic session. Veer Kunwar Singh University PhD entrance exam is held on the first week of October 2024*. All the students can download the admit card for the entrance exam of PhD program by visiting the university's official website. The university organizes the PAT entrance exam every year to provide admission to deserving candidates. There will be 100 questions in a test paper. For every right answer, a student will get 2 marks. No marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. Candidates have a time limit of 1 hour to answer the question.
This pre-admission event was held in two sessions. Its first shift will start at 11 am on the date of the entrance test and will last till 12 pm. PhD applicants will be asked multiple-choice questions related to general aptitude during this time. Paper 2 will begin in the second shift and will take two hours to complete. The test will be subjective.

VKSU PhD. Entrance Exam: Exemption
Those students who have passed the national level entrance exam are exempt from the PAT entrance exam at Veer Kunwar Singh University. Such as UGC-NET, GATE, CSIR-NET, etc. No written test is required of them.
Applicants who have been teaching for at least two years at any university will also be exempt from the entrance examination. In contrast, self-financed students do not fall under this category.
