Patna University Admission 2025-26: Registration process for all the UG courses is open for the academic cycle 2025-26. Patna University has introduced all the necessary changes to the curriculum framework for the implementation of the NEP 2020 Guidelines. It has extended the duration of the UG programs to 4 years and introduced credit-based systems to all the UG programs. Students enrolled at the university will also have to create their ABC ID on the Digilocker application.

Patna University UG Admission 2025-26

Patna University UG admission 2025 for various courses for the 2025-26 academic session, and the applicants can apply through the official website @pup.ac.in. Patna University UG admission 2025 last date is 23 May 2025. Students must hold a basic eligibility of 10+2 from an authorized university to be admitted to the university. By visiting @pup.ac.in, students can apply for admission. 

The university grants admission to the UG programs mostly based on the applicant’s merit in their qualifying examination, except for the  LLB and BFA programs. Students who wish to pursue any of the mentioned 2 courses must appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Some of the UG courses that the candidates can pursue at the university are BA, BCom, BFA, LLB, BSc, BCA, BBA, etc. 

Patna University PG Admission 2025-26

Patna University offers various Postgraduate courses like MBA, MSc, MSW, etc for the academic session 2025-26. Admission to the Patna University PG courses is based on the entrance examination conducted by the university. Students have to register fo the entrance exam. 31 May 2025* will be the Patna University Admission 2025 last date to apply. Students have to pay the application fee of INR 1100. Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and have scored at least 45% (relevant degree with honors) or 55% (degree with allied subjects) are eligible to pursue any PG program at the university.

For all the regular PG courses (except MEd, LLM, and Master of PM and IR), the candidates’ merit is considered. However, for all the self-financed PG courses, like MBA, MSW, MSc (Biotechnology), etc., the university conducts an entrance exam for admission.
