Established in the year 2018, Purnea University is a collegiate public state university. The university is situated in Purnia, Bihar. It was carried out at Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura on the 18th March 2018 by an act of the Bihar Assembly. Students seeking admission to Purnea University are required to submit their applications online through the official website of the university.
