IGNOU DELED (Diploma in Elementary Education Distance Learning)

IGNOU provides admission to the diploma course in elementary education (DELED) by distance learning mode. The duration of the IGNOU DELED course in the university is 2 years, and the applicants are required to complete the course within 4 years as the maximum duration. IGNOU DELED application form can be submitted at the official portal of the university before the deadline to be admitted to the university.

As per the minimum requirement listed by the university for Diploma in Elementary Education Distance Learning admission, the applicants must complete their 10th or 12th class from an institution that has been recognized by the government. he/she must have experience in teaching in an elementary school then, the only student is eligible to apply for admission.

IGNOU DELED Study Material

Indira Gandhi National Open University offers the DElED course through open learning without compromising on educational quality. For its enrolled DElEd students, it offers updated IGNOU study material. DElED study material is available online. By entering their enrollment number, students can check the status of IGNOU DELED Study Material online.

IGNOU does not provide applications for the IGNOU DELED course for the July 2024 session. After completing the admission process students will get the IGNOU DELED study material by post. Students will also be able to get access to the study material of the course through online mode.

IGNOU DELED: Evaluation

• The Programme uses a three-step evaluation system components;
• Self-evaluation exercises within each subject area (No weightage).
• The use of assignments as a means of continuous evaluation is a component that carries a weightage of 30% for each course.
•  Term-end examination (TEE) has a weightage of 70% of the total weightage for each course.

IGNOU DELED Assignment

In the IGNOU Assignment, there are some questions given to students within the time limit mentioned by the university.
