Gurugram University is one of the most prestigious universities of Haryana and was established in the year 2017. However, the university started functioning from the academic year 2018-19. This is the Indian State University located in Gurugram, Haryana. All the academic programs offered at the GU are affiliated by the UGC (University Grant Commission). It is also approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and the BCI (Board of Collegiate Studies). Gurugram University admission 2025-26 started for the UG courses. The admission is made available on the official website of the university. 20 June 2025 is the Gurugram University admission form 2025 last date. It is advised to candidates to go through the prospectus of the desired course they want to apply for. Students filling out the application shall keep in mind that all the information is accurate. A merit-based admission is offered for most courses. Furthermore, for some special courses like BTech, MBA, and LLB the university accepts the marks secured in the entrance examination. The registration fee which will have to be paid by an eligible candidate during the admission process ranges between INR 500 to 1500.

For the academic session 2025-26, Admission to the undergraduate courses started. The university offers courses like BTech, BPharma, BPT, LLB, and BSc in multiple subjects. Some of the disciplines include Animation and Multimedia, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Architecture, Interior Design, and more. The time duration of all Undergraduate programs ranges between 3 to 4 years depending on different types of courses. 

Admission to BPharma, BTech, and LLB are made by the marks obtained in the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) entrance examination. However, for the remaining programs admission shall be done on the basis of merit. Students must score a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 examination or an equivalent. The fee for admission to any UG program at GU ranges between INR 18K to 44K.

Students have to appear in an entrance exam for some courses followed by the interview round. For other courses admission is granted based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Gurugram University Eligibility Criteria

Gurugram University offers admission to most of the programs equally based on merit and entrance exam. Students who belong to the reserved category are offered a reservation of 10% of the qualifying marks. Applicants have to sit in a respective entrance exam to apply to any course. Some of the entrance exams accepted by the university are CUET, LEET, and HSTES. The following are the common criteria for the admission to reserve a seat in Gurugram University: 

Admission to any UG program is based on the 50% marks obtained in the higher secondary examination or an equivalent from a recognized board. For getting admission to PG programs having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is mandatory with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years on or before taking admission.
