DU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025: The registration process for DU B.Ed entrance exam will start soon for the academic year 2025-26. Delhi University BEd Entrance Exam 2025 application form last date will be 31 March 2025*. Online registration is live for the DU BEd admission test on the official website of NTA @https://pgcuet.samarth.ac.in/. Eligible students wishing for Delhi University BEd admission are required to apply before the due date and take the test. DU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025

Delhi University admission for the Bachelor of Education is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the university. The last date to apply for the form submission of entrance will be 31 March 2025* for the CUET BEd application form 2025. Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) is conducted by the university for the BEd admission 2025 DU. Delhi University grants admission to the bachelor of education course based on an entrance exam. How To Register For DU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025-26?

Students can find below the complete process of registering for the  DU B.Ed Entrance Exam. We will request that all students follow the process and register themselves.

1. Visit the University of Delhi website, go to the PG admission Portal, and register yourself first.
2. Then go through DU B.Ed. Prospectus available at https://pgcuet.samarth.ac.in/.
3. Then, check your Eligibility according to the Eligibility criteria given in the prospectus.
4. For online application, fill out the B.Ed. Admission Form is available on the DU PG Admissions Portal.
5. Please follow the step-by-step instructions given on the DU PG Admission portal carefully while filling out the online form.
6. Please select the B.Ed Subject Category and one teaching subject very carefully.
7. Please select the Centre of examination carefully.
8. No Changes in the form are allowed once the online payment has been done.
9. After the payment is made, take a printout of the form and bring it along on the day of admission at the allocated institution.

Delhi University B.Ed Entrance Test 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• There is no age limit for students to take the DU BEd entrance test.
• anyone who has completed their UG degree or going to appear in the final exam in the year 2025 is eligible for the test.
• Students must have secured at least 50% marks in their bachelor's for the general category.
• Candidates from SC/ST/EWS/PWD or Special Abilities category have a relaxation of 10%.
• However, after the test students have to fulfill the admission criteria of the DU which will be announced at the time of counselling.
• There is no age limit for the admission. Students must have cleared an entrance exam. 

DU BEd Entrance Exam: Number of Attempts

Earlier the candidates were allowed to sit in the entrance test after filling out the registration form, but the number of attempts was not considered by DU. But In 2019, the university allowed students to qualify for the test in only 3 attempts.

• In the examination, all questions will be asked in MCQ format.
• The questions paper will be divided into four sections.

DU B.Ed Entrance Exam Mock Test

DU BEd Mock Test 2025: Officially, DU does not provide mock tests for the BEd entrance test 2025. However other students can prefer last year's entrance question papers and can prepare for the test by appearing in the mock test available on many websites. Reasoning  

It will also assess candidates’ abilities to analyze and interpret data and find solutions to problematic situations. This section will assess mathematical, logical, and verbal reasoning abilities.

This section contains questions that would test the candidate’s general knowledge and awareness of social, political, environmental, and economic issues. The section also contains questions to examine the perspectives and analyses of and responses to teaching and learning situations.

Exam Pattern

There are four sections for each course at the University. All course sections have predetermined marks. There are four codes: A, B, C, and D. There are four subjects: General Awareness and Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning, Fundamentals (Subject Knowledge up to Class 10), and Language Proficiency. They are worth 30, 20, 30, and 20 points, respectively.

Information About DU BEd Entrance Result 2025

DU B.Ed result 2025 will be soon officially available by the university for the 2025-26 session. After that, students can download the result by entering the registration password and application number by going to www.du.ac.in.

According to the result, students will be selected for procedure selection. The university gives the reservation to the reserved category students at 20 marks. As a result, the university mentioned the merit list according to the subject category.

DU B.Ed Counselling Process 2025

Selection Process: After the result has been declared, the selection process is quite easy it is completed in some easy steps.  The counseling process starts after the result is announced now university wants to verify the candidate's original documents who clear the DU BED exam. Selected students must attend counseling to get enrolled in any college of Delhi University. Students can fill out the form for college preference.

At Dehli University, 2 Colleges impart professional courses admission to only girls. First is Lady Irwin College. It is also known by the name LIC College. Another girl’s college is Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College. The other 2 colleges offer BEd in co-ed mode.

LIC College offers a BED in Home science. It is also well known for BEd Special Education(MR) for students from all streams.

DU B.Ed Total Seats

Delhi University will soon release the notification of B.Ed seats for all DU University Eligible candidates can choose the University according to their preferences. Candidates who clear the CUET PG 2025 Entrance exam are eligible for admission after candidates apply for admission at any University, the university will release the merit list of selected candidates. 

Table 2 shows the institution-wise allocation of seats for various subject categories. The candidates for each reserved category will compete amongst themselves for the seats available under the subject category in the four institutions, as detailed below:
 

DU B.Ed Reservation Criteria

Delhi University provides relaxation to some students in special cases. The minimum eligibility requirement for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates will be that they must have passed the qualifying school/degree examination. Other Backward Classes (OBC), Children/Widows/Wives of Armed Personnel, including Para-Military Personnel, killed/disabled in Action (CW), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates will be allowed a concession of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.

University has the reservation criteria for the different categories of students who are applicants for the DU B.Ed 2025 Examination. It provides the 3 percentile reservation to the PWD, 7.5 percentile reservation to the ST candidates, 15 percentile reservation to SC candidates, and 27 percentile reservation to the OBC candidates. There is no reservation available for the general category students.
